FG admit Bruton should have disclosed donation

John Bruton made a mistake when he did not disclose the origins of a $50,000 donation to Fine Gael, according to the party's justice spokesperson Alan Shatter.

Deputy Shatter said that while the former party leader had clearly been given legal advice that the matter did not fall within the remit of the Moriarty Tribunal, a wrong judgement had been made.
