Heat on Fine Gael over $50,000 donation

Fine Gael will face tough questions in the Dail this morning due to a $50,000 dollar donation received from a Norwegian telecommunications company during its time in the Rainbow Coalition.

The party is expected to make contact with the Moriarty Tribunal over the donation, which was allegedly made on behalf of Esat Telecom, months before Esat was awarded a mobile phone licence.
