Burke to face further grilling over sterling batches
The Flood Tribunal will continue its examination of Ray Burke at Dublin Castle later this morning.
Last week, Mr Justice Flood was told that the former Justice Minister broke the law by not obtaining exchange control permits for bringing batches of sterling into Ireland in 1985.
Mr Burke also revealed that he had an account with the AIB on Bruton St in London.
This admission came after a September 1997 denial in the Dail of any such overseas accounts.
Mr Burke is due to face further questioning about the granting of a broadcast licence to Century Radio in 1989.
