Further cancellations over foot and mouth

The foot and mouth disease has caused further cancellations throughout the country as the decision was made to call off Limerick Civic week.

The foot and mouth disease has caused further cancellations throughout the country as the decision was made to call off Limerick Civic week.

This means that the city’s St. Patrick’s Day parade has been cancelled and the ceremony, which, had been scheduled to award the freedom of the city to JP McManus and Bill Whelan, has been postponed.

Elsewhere the Fianna Fáil head office has issued a request to all its members that all meetings of the organisation be postponed until further notice.
