The Chairman of the Flood Tribunal will this morning rule on a submission by lawyers for Ray Burke that the inquiry was using unfair procedures against the former Minister.

The Chairman of the Flood Tribunal will this morning rule on a submission by lawyers for Ray Burke that the inquiry was using unfair procedures against the former Minister.

Counsel for Mr Burke claimed that the Tribunal should not publicly hear any evidence on his financial affairs.

Lawyers claimed it was unfair to trawl through 20 years of the Deputy's financial records without making any allegations.
