Wicklow hit badly by blizzard conditions
Wicklow has been among the counties worst hit by the blizzards inflicting themselves on the northern and eastern coasts of Ireland.
AA Roadwatch report the Blessington-Naas road to be virtually impassable, with conditions are extremely poor around Eadestown.
Earlier, gardai closed the Baltinglass-Aughrim, Blessington-Ballymore Eustace and Baltinglass-Kiltegan roads as conditions became dangerous.
Delays continue on the N11 throughout much of the county, with other tailbacks reported at Newtownmountkennedy and between Greystones and Bray.
People in Wicklow are having to rely on national services for their local information at present - local radio station East Coast Radio went off the air this morning as their transmitter blew down.
