AA Roadwatch report that the N1 has been reopened north of Dundalk following a major crash involving a truck this morning.

Serious delays remain however between Newry and Dundalk at Dromad after the accident.

Conditions are treacherous on the N1, with the route between Greenore and Carlingford also particularly bad.
