Tesco open £10m supermarkets

A new £8m supermarket has opened in Castlebar, with the Tesco store in Market Square creating 100 new jobs.

The "country's most modern supermarket" is the second purpose built store to be built in Ireland by the company, bringing the number of Tesco outlets in Ireland to 76.
