More homes pipe bombed in North
The RUC have revealed that two more Catholic homes were pipe-bombed overnight - this time in the mainly Protestant village of Broughshane near Ballymena.
The bombs were thrown through the windows of the two homes in the early hours, though neither exploded and no injuries were caused.
The RUC have confirmed the attacks were of a sectarian nature.
Although the UDA has been blamed for the majority of the 50-plus attacks this year, the overnight pipe bomb factory find in Belfast was in a UVF stronghold, with questions now being asked about the organisation's possible involvement in this year's sectarian campaign against Catholics.
The haul included 11 pipe bombs, an undercover booby trap device, a coffee jar bomb, eight kilos of explosive and a bomb made up in a fire extinguisher ready to be used.
