Body found in Co Meath Gardai are expected to launch a murder investigation which will be headed by Chief Superintendent Michael Finnegan.

A post mortem examination is to be carried out to reveal the cause of death of the man whose body was found in a field in Co. Meath.

Gardai are trying to establish the identity of the man who was found with his hands and feet tied and severe head injuries.
