Irish hauliers have won the right to fight fines imposed on them by British authorities after being found with illegal immigrants in their vehicles.

A recent London High Court ruling gave the truckers the right to legally challenge the fines which amount to thousands of pounds per immigrant.

Up to fifty Irish hauliers have been hit by the fines so far, with some having their trucks impounded.
