Bishop Daly before Bloody Sunday inquiry
Former Bishop of Derry, Edward Daly, is to testify before the Bloody Sunday inquiry today.
67-year-old Dr Daly became famous worldwide when television pictures showed him waving a bloody handkerchief to clear the way for a group carrying the fatally injured Jackie Duddy 29 years ago.
He was a curate at St Eugene's parish on January 30, 1972, when British paratroopers shot dead 13 unarmed civilians.
