A journalist who covered the march which became Bloody Sunday has told how he could see nothing to justify the British Army shooting he witnessed from close range that day.

David Tereshchuk, then a 23-year-old researcher with Thames TV's This Week programme, claimed at the Saville Inquiry to have seen paratroopers arriving in Derry's Bogside and almost immediately started firing within 40 yards of him.
