Bowden "given drugs money by gardai" claim

The Special Criminal Court has been told that State supergrass Charles Bowden was returned some of his drugs money by gardai after he made statements against the alleged killers of Veronica Guerin.

Bowden admitted to the Court that he told a plethora of lies to the gardai in a series of statements about his involvement in the killing.
