ASTI remains locked in talks

There is still no decision from the Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland on whether they will accept a Labour Relations Commission peace plan.

The ASTI executive has been locked in talks since this morning at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin and a result is expected this evening. If the 180 members vote in favour of the plan, the Labour Court will be given a key role in hearing their 30% pay claim.
