Grenade left outside Donegal courthouse

An army bomb disposal team carried out a controlled explosion of a live hand grenade left outside a courthouse in Co Donegal overnight.

The grenade was spotted outside the courthouse in Buncrana at 12.20am. A number of nearby houses were evacuated, but no-one was injured.
