Post mortem due on Kildare fire victim today

The State pathologist, Dr John Harbison, will visit Co Kildare this morning after yesterday's fatal fire in Monasterevin.

Dr Harbison will carry out a post mortem on the body of a 75-year-old man who perished in the blaze.

A second elderly man, the deceased's brother, is recovering in Naas General Hospital. Gardai have not yet ruled out foul play.
