Two held after £20,000 drugs raid

Gardai in Dublin have seized cocaine and ecstasy worth around £20,000.

Detectives attached to Coolock Drugs Unit swooped on a house in Darndale and found the narcotics, along with £9,000 cash.

A man and a woman were arrested and taken to Coolock Garda Station.

They are being detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act and can be held for up to seven days.
