Kildare accident victim named

Gardai have named the man who died in a road accident in Co Kildare yesterday afternoon.

He was Patrick Morgan from Ballymany Rd, near Newbridge, Co Kildare.

Mr Morgan, who was in his sixties, died after the accident on the road between Rathangan and the Curragh at around 2.20pm.

A woman who was seriously injured in the crash is recovering in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
