Mary Harney calls for Lawlor resignation

The Tanaiste has said she thinks Liam Lawlor should resign his seat.

Mary Harney said everyone has a duty to cooperate with tribunals, particularly public representatives.

She added the Dublin West TD's position is now untenable.

The statement comes after the announcement of a Dail motion for Deputy Lawlor's resignation.
