Taoiseach gets letter from Bush

It has been revealed that new US President, George W Bush, has written to Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and underlined his commitment to Ireland and the peace process.

The letter arrived in the past few days and comes as the former governor of Texas prepares to take over at the White House. He will be inaugurated today at 5pm Irish time.
