Adams wants SF rep at council meeting

Gerry Adams has insisted that Northern Ireland First Minister, David Trimble, will have to nominate a minister from Sinn Fein for the forthcoming meeting of the British-Irish council.

Speaking at Sinn Fein headquarters in Dublin, Mr Adams said any suggestion that Mr Trimble might refuse to do so would be countenanced by his party.
