Flood Tribunal checks Burke payment allegations

The Flood Tribunal is investigating further allegations that former Minister Ray Burke received another large payment in cash in unusual circumstances.

According to newspaper reports, a former Fianna Fail councillor has given the planning inquiry details of witnessing Mr Burke being given a large bundle of cash in the mid 1980s.
