Teachers pay to be returned next week

The Minister for Education Dr Michael Woods has confirmed that docked pay from ASTI teachers who engaged in one-day stoppages, will be re-paid to teachers next week following the ASTI's decision to suspend strike action at schools for a week, while they re-enter talks with the Government.

Talks are expected to start first thing on Monday.
