Inflation set to drop

There should finally be good news on the inflation front today, with predictions that figures being released will confirm a drop of about 1%. It is hoped the fall will be turning point and the beginning of a downward trend.

Last month the consumer price index recorded inflation at a record 7%, fuelling worries about the future of the Irish economy.
