Police fear worst for Leanne
West Yorkshire detectives searching for missing Irish teenager Leanne Tiernan have admitted for the first time that they are fearful that she has come to "serious harm".
The 16-year-old, who lived in Bramley, went missing on November 26 after a Christmas shopping trip in Leeds with her best friend Sarah.
She has not been seen since leaving her friend at a bus stop to walk through unlit wasteland.
1,400 house-to-house inquiries have been made in the eight weeks since Leanne's disappearance, with police divers continuing with river searches and canal dredging in the area.
