Revenue Chairman before DIRT hearings today
The Chairman of the Revenue Commissioners is to appear before the Dáil Public Accounts Sub-Committee when the DIRT hearings resume today.
He will be questioned on the recent announcement by National Irish Bank that they are to compensate some of their customers for back taxes levied by the Revenue Commissioners.
Committee Chairman Jim Mitchell said this morning that he wanted further details of the matter, adding that plans to restructure the Revenue Commissioners will also be discussed at today's hearings.
