The pedestrian who died after he was struck by a car in Co Louth last night has been named as 68-year-old Dennis Mullins, of Cushkilfinnane in Co Limerick.

The pedestrian who died after he was struck by a car in Co Louth last night has been named as 68-year-old Dennis Mullins, of Cushkilfinnane in Co Limerick.

The accident happened shortly after 11pm last night near Kilmallock.
