Adams had secret meeting with Mandelson

It has been revealed that the Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams has had a private meeting with the Northern Secretary Peter Mandelson for over an hour yesterday.

Mr Adams is due to meet John Hume this afternoon, while a delegation from the SDLP is planning to meet the RUC.
