Are these the best Christmas lights in Ireland?

Every December houses are decked out in the biggest and brightest Christmas lights but Cork may be host to the best of the lot.

The O'Callaghan home in Macroom has been done up to the nines and TV3's Southern Correspondent Paul Byrne was on hand to flick the switch.

The best part about these Christmas lights, though, is that it's all for a good cause.

The house has been decorated to help support The Friends of Marymount Hospice. 'The Friends' organise fundraising events in aid of the hospice.

Peggy and Donal O'Callaghan have been lighting up their home for charity for the past 38 years.

It's so popular even Santa Claus himself decided to pay a visit.
