Ryanair holidays set for takeoff
āConsumers have been paying too much for package holidays for years and more and more want to put their own packages together themselves,ā said the airlineās chief marketing officer, Kenny Jacobs.
The airline said it intends to try and undercut package holiday firms by re-investing its commissions to drive volumes. After teaming up with Spanish-based tour operator Logitravel and accommodation provider World2Meet, Ryanair says it will offer customers a choice of more than 330,000 three-, four-, and five-star hotels throughout the Mediterranean and European cities.
