100,000 theatre goers flocked to Cork’s Everyman last year

Cork’s Everyman Palace Theatre had 100,000 attendees last year at a record 91 productions.

Turnover at the MacCurtain Street venue has increased by 30% in the past two years and box office takings have risen by 23%.

The theatre’s executive director, Sean Kelly, said the excellent results are a reflection of the special bond between The Everyman and audiences and artists.
