VIDEO: Serious damage after fire at Cork city retailer

Fashion retailer Oasis is counting the cost after fire caused thousands of euro worth of damage yesterday in its store on Cork City’s main shopping street.

The alarm was raised just after 3pm when staff noticed smoke coming from a storeroom on the first floor above its St Patrick’s Street outlet.

Five units of Cork City Fire Brigade rushed to the scene.
