Troy worth its weight in gold to film industry

Troy Studio has opened its doors at Plassey Technological Park, Limerick when more than 600 people were told of the wide range of job opportunities which the city’s new film industry offers.

Troy Studio, set up by directors of Ardmore Studio, has leased the old Dell building from Limerick City and County Council and is converting it into an international film-making hub.

More than 500 jobs will be created when film-makers move in to use the huge facility.
