Paediatrician who attended Jason Corbett's children must release notes

A US court has ordered that the paediatrician who attended the children of a murdered Irish man must release her notes to the woman accused of killing him.

Molly Martens, aged 33, who is charged with the second-degree murder and manslaughter of Limerick native Jason Corbett, had the subpoena seeking the records granted to her last week. The court also ordered the victim’s cardiologist to release Mr Corbett’s medical records to the defence solicitors.

Mr Corbett, 39, was found dead in the early hours of August 2, 2015, in the home he shared with his wife Ms Martens in Panther Creek, Wallburg, North Carolina.
