Her highly detailed and realistic drawings include squirrels, foxes, puffins and badgers and other animals of the countryside.

Gemma managed a landscape design company for 10 years, but decided in 2012 to set up Foxglove Studio where she specialises in bespoke pet portraits.

She lives with her husband Morgan and three small children in Douglas, Cork.

Speaking about her upcoming exhibition she said: “I am excited at this opportunity to share my passion for the wildlife and beauty to be found in our local countryside and looking forward to meeting people to discus smy art.”

Gemma’s exhibition will open on Wednesday at 8pm in Cronin’s Pub and will continue until November 6.
