675 IT and pharma jobs announced in Cork, Dublin, and Galway

Some 675 jobs are to be created following massive investment in the biopharmaceutical and software sectors in Cork, Dublin, and Galway.

Of that number, up to 500 positions will be generated in Cork as GE Healthcare invests €150m in four factories at a new biopharma campus.

In the short term, another 800 people will be employed in preparatory site works and construction at the new GE biopark.
