Deadline day to claim €400k EuroMillions prize with ticket purchased in Midleton
Time is running out for the winner or winners of the €381,863 EuroMillions prize, from the draw of Friday, May 6.
The money looks set to go unclaimed unless someone comes forward by 5.50pm today.
The Quick Pick ticket was a Match 5 + 1 Lucky Star bought on the day of the draw at Tesco, Market Green Shopping Centre in Midleton. The winning numbers were 32, 34, 40, 45, 48 and the Lucky Stars were 1 & 10.
A National Lottery spokesperson said the winner has yet to get in touch.
“No contact has been made yet in relation to this prize.
“We would urge players to check their tickets carefully as time is running out.”
Winners legally have 90 days from the date of the draw to make a claim.
Unclaimed money goes back into National Lottery coffers to promote its games, in accordance with the licence.
This is the second EuroMillions prize in as many weeks to go unclaimed with just hours to the expiry deadline.
A prize of more than €190,000 scooped on a ticket bought in Galway expired last Thursday, July 28, when nobody came forward to claim it.
Lucky prize-winners are urged to sign the back of a ticket and immediately contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01 836 4444.
Just to jolt the memory of anyone unaware they may have the ticket. The draw was on the same day Enda Kenny made history by becoming the first Fine Gael leader to be re-elected as Taoiseach, in the 32nd Dáil.
