‘Irish Examiner’ editor Tim Vaughan to leave for new challenge

The editor of the Irish Examiner, Tim Vaughan, is to take up a new position in another company next October.

Chief executive Tom Murphy informed the newspaper’s staff yesterday that Mr Vaughan has been offered and accepted the position of head of content and corporate communications at Cork-based Newsweaver.

Mr Murphy said he was sorry Mr Vaughan was leaving, but wished him the best in his new position.
