The search for Mary Boyle will never stop says march organiser

The large crowd turned out for a commemoration walk in memory of Mary Boyle, who went missing outside Ballyshannon.

Among those present was Mary’s twin sister Ann, who has campaigned tirelessly to find out the truth about what happened to her sister.

Marchers held placards with slogans including ā€˜Justice for Mary Boyle’, ā€˜Child Killer At Large’, ā€˜No More Cover-Up’, and ā€˜Arrest Killer Now.’

Organiser Naomi Brady said she was moved to hold the march after seeing a YouTube video entitled Mary Boyle — The Untold Story.

She told walkers: ā€œI felt that we needed to do something for the family and particular for Ann because there is nothing that anyone would know that would be the amount of pain and suffering and hardship that this family have gone through over the last 40 years.ā€

She said some of those at the walk had searched for Mary in the initial hours after she disappeared.

ā€œThis has to come to an end. We need this child to be brought home and laid to rest,ā€ Ms Brady said.
