Co-option in county council gives seat to another sibling - Aidan Lombard

Another sibling has joined the ranks of Cork County Council following the recent elections to the Dáil and Seanad.

The latest addition to the 55-seat local authority is Aidan Lombard, who will be co-opted at the next council meeting to replace his brother, Tim Lombard, who has been elected to the Seanad.

Aidan Lombard convincingly won a Fine Gael selection convention contest held in Acton’s Hotel, Kinsale, on Tuesday night.
