Fundraising concert to help Cork city’s homeless

The Lord Mayor of Cork will host a major fundraising concert next month to help the city’s homeless.

Cllr Chris O’Leary launched details last night of his summer charity musical evening in City Hall in aid of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVP), which will feature a visiting orchestra from the US.

The Let’s Make It Work concert in City Hall on June 17 will feature the visiting Midwest Young Artists Conservatory (MYAC) Orchestra from Chicago, supported by a seven-piece jazz ensemble, and guest tenor Paul Byrom of The Three Tenors.
