CCTV captures moment man attacks and robs elderly lady in her own home

A 27-year-old man has been jailed in the UK for this attack on an elderly woman in her own home.

Captured on CCTV, this is the moment an 89-year-old woman was attacked and robbed in her own home.

Alice Swale from Hull can be seen showing a man around her home before being knocked to the floor.

Her attacker pins her down and rips the rings off her finger, before raiding the house.

After he left, Alice called the police. Within six hours they had found the attacker, 27-year-old Dwayne Hollingworth.

Hollingworth was jailed for nine years for what police called a 'despicable offense against a very vulnerable woman'.

Alice Swale, who suffers from dementia, was treated in hospital for her injuries.
