Pressure is increasing for the full publication of the O’Higgins report following the broadcast of elements of the report on RTÉ yesterday.

Calls for O’Higgins report to be fully published

The report into allegations of malpractice in the gardaí in the Cavan-Monaghan area has now been with the minister for justice for more than two weeks with little indication of when it will be published.

The Irish Examiner understands that, following one of yesterday’s broadcasts, Lorraine McCabe, who is married to Sergeant Maurice McCabe, phoned the office of the minister for justice to plead with her to publish the report.
