The passenger cruise liner MSC Splendida arrived in Cobh, Co Cork, earlier today.  

The Irish Examiner was there to capture the moment.

The ship is the biggest to ever visit Irish shores at 333 ft long. It cost $550 million dollars to build and employs over 1,300 crew members and can hold almost 4,000 passengers
