A number of objectors to the children’s hospital being built on Dublin’s St James’s Hospital campus are “thinking very seriously” about seeking a judicial review of the planning decision, it has emerged.

CEO and founder of the Jack and Jill Foundation, Jonathan Irwin, said real problems were raised at the 10-day oral hearing at the end of last year.

Anyone who was involved in the hearing has eight weeks to seek a judicial review of An Bord Pleanála’s decision to grant planning permission.
