David Drumm is expected to appear before Dublin District Court later today to face 33 charges in relation to Anglo Irish Bank.

After finally conceding defeat in his protracted bid to escape extradition to Ireland, the former Anglo chief executive was due to be flown here overnight before being brought to the court.

He is likely to contest the 33 charges here which include forgery, conspiracy, and false accounting. The majority of the counts relate to Mr Drumm’s alleged role in the so-called Maple 10 transactions.
