Cabinet still has confidence in Enda Kenny, says senior source

A senior Government spokesperson has said cabinet still has confidence in Taoiseach Enda Kenny, amid mounting pressure for the Fine Gael leader to actively address the party’s post-election crisis.
The claim was made at a post-cabinet briefing as Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin made informal phone calls to Social Democrats and Greens leaders Catherine Murphy and Eamon Ryan, both of which have said they are open to discussing plans to reform the Dáil.
