Fianna Fáil on the attack but lacking serious bite behind its bark

In its first election campaign outing, Fianna Fáil went on the attack, but the party was lacking bite behind its bark.

The party launched its election campaign yesterday by criticising the “arrogant and out of touch” government coalition.

Speaking from his party’s election headquarters on Dublin’s Lower Mount Street, Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin lambasted the Government parties for allowing problems to reach emergency levels.
