UCC and Irish Examiner collaboration sees launch of theirishrevolution.ie

A new collaborative digital project between University College Cork and the Irish Examiner has been launched as part of both organisation's ongoing commitment to stimulating a greater understanding and debate of the events which shaped this nation in the period 1916 - 1923.

The collaborative website theirishrevolution.ie promises to inform and engage readers with a wide variety of authoritative and entertaining content.

In its mission statement theirishrevolution.ie also pledges to become a unique educational and research tool for all ages and interests, a valuable record of the social, cultural and political events that shaped this period and a stimulating home for debate among all age groups as the people of Ireland consider the shape and aspirations of their nation for the next 100 years.
